Established in 2018,Chunghwa Telecom's 5G Accelerator is Taiwan's first telecom 5G accelerator. Over the past seven years, it has attracted 82 outstanding startup teams to join.
Adhering to the concept of "Empowering Partners, Platform Assets," the accelerator actively invests in nurturing local startups in Taiwan. Whether it is providing technical support, 5G proof-of-concept fields, or business investment opportunities, the accelerator aims to become the best platform for empowering startup teams, continuously injecting new growth momentum into Taiwan's startup enterprises.

Chunghwa Telecom, upholding the philosophy of “big supports small,” established the 5G Accelerator in September 2018. By the end of 2025, a total of 82 outstanding startup teams have been selected.
The Chunghwa Telecom 5G Accelerator is a corporate venture capital (CVC)-based platform accelerator that leverages the group`s resources to provide technical support, proof-of-concept environments, business opportunities, and funding matchmaking. It focuses on the fields of 5G, AI, and digital transformation, while integrating upstream and downstream partners to help startups commercialize their technologies and services.
Looking ahead, the Chunghwa Telecom 5G Accelerator will continue to empower entrepreneurs by offering top-tier 5G and IDC infrastructure, AI technology platforms, integrated channels, and partner resources. The goal is to enable the realization of innovative technologies and business applications, thereby driving innovation, development, and transformation across Taiwan's industries.
Eligible applicants include startups or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that meet the following criteria and seek to collaborate with Chunghwa Telecom to develop AI-driven innovative applications and explore market opportunities in ESG and green energy sustainability:
• Startups: Companies duly incorporated and registered under the Company Act of the Republic of China for less than 8 years, established on or after January 1, 2018 and currently in operation.
• Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) : Companies duly incorporated and registered under the Company Act of the Republic of China , currently in operation, and meeting the “Standards for Identifying Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” as approved by the Executive Yuan.
