- The lease starts from the date when the company’s equipment is installed and ready for use.
- For temporary lease, internet service and line circuit fee are charged daily at one-fifteenth of the monthly fee.
- To use HiNet value-added services, the value-added service will be charged separately.
- Internet service and line circuit receivables and value-added services fees are rounded to the nearest dollar, and all are included in the company’s bill for collection.
- If the customer terminates the lease or owes the fee and stops using HiNet services, the company has the right to terminate and stop the allocated internet account (user number, user identification code), member account, e-mail account and value-added services, etc. at any time.
- The installation of the company’s service is limited to the range of the company's equipment and related technologies.
- The monthly fee of the access line includes the cost of the customer's access to the equipment and the trunk circuit and equipment between the exchange offices, and does not include the Internet service fee.
- Each internet speed of the service refers to the highest Line Rate that can be provided. The actual transmission rate (Data Rate) varies according to the network environment and usage. Therefore, when providing users with Internet services, they are classified as "Best Effort" according to the international standard network quality classification. The connecting Internet speed will vary due to factors such as the terminal equipment, distance, environment, and the bandwidth of the visited website.

- The plan cannot be used in conjunction with other plans. Customers apply for the plan can enjoy the promotion fee for 24 months, starts from the next day after installation. From the 25th month onwards, each rate will be charged according to the rate announced at that time.
- Customers apply for the plan have to sign the contract and agree to use the service for 24 months. If the contract is terminated before the expiration date, the early termination fees have to be paid.
- New applicants who sign for 2-year contract can enjoy a $500 discount on the first line circuit connecting fee (original price $1,500/time) and free on HiNet system setting fee (original price $1,500/time). Original ADSL customers upgrade to fttx and sign for 2-year contract, the line circuit connecting fee is waived (original price $1,500/time). If the contract is terminated before the expiration date, the early termination fees have to be paid.
- CHT reserves the right to match the Wi-Fi specifications and models. A $250 installation fee will be charged when changing plan within contract period thus to change Wi-Fi specifications and models.
- Due to distance and equipment limitations, the fttx service is limited to the the company's technology. Please contact customer service 0800-080-123 or go to the Chunghwa Telecom website (www.cht.com.tw) to query whether it is available to install the needed internet speed.
- Each internet speed of the service refers to the highest Line Rate that can be provided. The actual transmission rate (Data rate) will be affected by the software and hardware of the terminal equipment, distance, environment of the customer's location, bandwidth of the visited website and the simultaneous use of value-added services (such as: MOD, OTT...), etc., the Internet speed may sometimes decrease. Therefore, when providing Internet services, the Internet quality is classified according to international standards "Best Effort"mode.
