Chunghwa Telecom today announced that it has been recognized by S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) - World Index as one of the world-class leaders of sustainable corporates, and has been named to DJSI Emerging Markets Index for a eleventh consecutive years, maintaining its position as one of the industry leaders with outstanding achievements in governance, environment and society.

Dow Jones Sustainability Index is the most authoritative and credible sustainability assessment in the world, which attracted thousands of corporates to participate every year. In 2022, the assessment is quite competitive as more than 13,000 corporations were competed for being included in the DJSI World Index.

Chunghwa Telecom received full marks in over 60% of the assessed categories in 2022. For the governance dimension, Chunghwa Telecom scored highest in categories including Risk & Crisis Management, Tax Strategy, Innovation Management, Network Reliability and Environmental Policy & Management Systems. Furthermore, Chunghwa Telecom also received great recognition in categories including Business Ethics, Operational Eco-Efficiency, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Development, Occupational Health & Safety and Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy.
