In 2017, Chunghwa Telecom became the first telecom operator in Taiwan that joined the CDP Supply Chain Program. Aiming for 100% completion of the carbon management knowledge education and training for the Significant Tier-1 Suppliers by 2025 and has been committed to collecting information of climate change and carbon emissions of the suppliers at least once a year.
