Chunghwa Telecom Actively Promotes Sustainable Development with On-Site Performance Evaluation Training for Sustainable Supply Chain

To deepen sustainable supply chain management, Chunghwa Telecom conducts supplier ESG written surveys, on-site evaluations by employees (2nd Party Audit), and on-site ESG audits conducted by SGS-Taiwan (3rd Party Audit). These measures ensure sustainable collaboration with supplier partners, achieving best practices in environmental, social, and corporate governance.

To establish and enhance procurement personnel’s evaluation skills, Chunghwa Telecom will hold the “On-Site Performance Evaluation Skills Training for Sustainable Supply Chain” at Banqiao Telecom Academy from August 1 to August 2. This training will be conducted by instructors from the SGS IMS team, providing employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively conduct on-site supplier evaluations. Chunghwa Telecom stated that this training will further strengthen the company’s sustainable supply chain management capabilities. Through written surveys and on-site evaluations, the company ensures that suppliers comply with Chunghwa Telecom’s Supplier Code of Conduct, contributing to the sustainable value chain of the ICT industry.
