(TAIEX: 2412, NYSE: CHT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Master Telecommunication Service Agreement (MTSA) with EXATEL, the Poland National Telecommunication company. The theme of this signing press conference is " TELCO HǍO CHÁ", which symbolizes a wonderful start of cooperation between the two parties. The cooperation aims to forge a robust technology and telecommunications alliance in Europe, driving progress and seeking investment opportunities in “5G Private Network”, “Smart City Solutions”, “Green Data Center”, “Software-Defined Network(SDN)”, and “Optical Key Distribution” fields.
In response to the three major development trends: Global digital transformation, Net-zero transformation, and Supply chain transformation after the pandemic, Taiwan enterprises are also paying more attention to investing in Europe. That’s why EXATEL selected five emerging services including 5G private network and smart city solutions to cooperate with Chunghwa Telecom. Chunghwa Telecom and EXATEL have successfully inaugurated their high-speed node network interconnection on July 21st, to provide faster and better enterprise network services. The collaboration brings forth an array of advanced services including International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and IP Peering. This also offers enhanced convenience in establishing operations for the enterprises of Taiwan and Europe in the Eurasian region.
