Chunghwa Telecom announced today that Chunghwa Telecom Japan Co., its overseas branch in Japan committing to providing various ICT services to enterprises in the Japanese market, successfully obtained a Specific Construction License for the telecommunication construction business under Japanese construction industry regulations. This license helps remove the cap on contrsuction contract projects and allows Chunghwa Telecom Japan Co. to legally acquire large-scale projects, particularly providing Taiwanese and Japanese enterprises with more comprehensive and professional integrated ICT services.

The special construction license is an important and critical censorship mechanism for the construction industry in Japan, and only the company which passes the strict government review and then can obtain the approval. This license shows the ability of construction companies to acquire larger-scale construction projects and furthermore make greater financial contribution. For the Taiwanese enterprises who enter the Japanese market , and need to facilitate office environments and ICT solutions, the complicated Japanese regulations and industry practices are usually the obstacles and result in unnecessary costs.
