From February 27 to March 2, 2023, the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) was held in Barcelona, Spain, with over 1,900 exhibitors from more than 180 countries around the world participating in this global event. On the third day of the event (March 1), Chunghwa Telecom, representing Taiwan, was once again awarded three prestigious awards by internationally renowned mobile network testing authority OPENSIGNAL. These three awards were the "2022 Taiwan Mobile Network Experience Award," "2022 Taiwan 5G Download and Upload Experience Champion." (The awards were received by Chunghwa Telecom's President, Shui-Yi Kuo, Senior Executive Vice President, Rong-Shy Lin, and Vice President of the Network Technology Group, Chung-Yung Chia.)
The awards not only showcased Taiwan to the world but also proved Chunghwa Telecom's customer-centric service concept, received international recognition and user’s affirmation.
Chunghwa Telecom was the only company in Taiwan to win awards from both SPEEDTEST® and OPENSIGNAL, making them the “5G network speed dual champions” recognized by two international authority institutions.
