From February 27 to March 2, 2023, the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) was held in Barcelona, Spain, with over 1,900 exhibitors from more than 180 countries around the world participating in this global event. On the first day of the event, Chunghwa Telecom, representing Taiwan, was awarded three prestigious awards by SPEEDTEST®, an internationally renowned mobile network testing authority. These three awards were “Best Mobile Network Coverage for 5 Consecutive Years,” “Best Mobile Network for 5 Consecutive Years,” and “Fastest 5G Network in Taiwan.” (The awards were received by Chunghwa Telecom's President, Shui-Yi Kuo, Senior Executive Vice President, Rong-Shy Lin, and Vice President of the Network Technology Group, Chung-Yung Chia.)
MWC 2023 not only showcased Taiwan to the world but also proved Chunghwa Telecom's commitment to customer-centric service, received international recognition and user’s affirmation.
Chunghwa Telecom is one of the few companies in the world and the only one in Taiwan to have won the triple champions of international authority recognition for fastest internet speed, best coverage, and best network for five consecutive years.
