This service (Universal Int'l Freephone Number, abbreviated as UIFN) is developed based on the I-008 service. The domestic customer who applies for this service can have an unique 800-XXXX-XXX activated in multiple countries. This service makes it easier to establish a customer service center or consultation center.

● The caller from abroad can connect directly to your service department or inquiry center free of charge.

Strengths

● International communication fee are based on Chunghwa Telecom's IDD rates and may enjoy the IDD fixed-term contract discounts or discounts for the major customer.

● You can make your own number according to the UIFN format as long as it is not in use. We will request ITU to allocate the number.

● The application procedure is easy.

Instructions

The domestic customer provide the UIFN to the caller in the foreign country and dial it in the format as int'l prefix number than 800-XXXX-XXXX.
