Initial setup: Insert the SIM card into your mobile handset and turn the handset on.

Services:

1. Chunghua Telecom 5G/4G Prepaid Card suits all your internet needs when traveling in Taiwan. The Day Pass Plan includes unlimited 5G/4G internet access, free access to CHT Wi-Fi hotspots all around Taiwan, and internet sharing whenever you want.

2. This Prepaid Card also enables you to make international calls as well as local calls when traveling in Taiwan so that you can save up on tremendous roaming charges. Please refer to DM provided by CHT service centers or dial 928 from your handset for more information or customer assistance.

How to Make a Call:

1. Domestic Land Line: area code + phone number + SEND

2. Mobile: mobile phone number + SEND

3. International: 009 or 019 + country code + area code + phone number + SEND

4. Others: dial 112 for Emergency Hot Line (free)

How to Send SMS:

1. Local SMS: simply enter receiver's local Mobile number. (e.g. 09xxxxxxxx)

2. International SMS: please enter "+" + "country code" + "receiver's mobile number" (e.g. sending SMS to China, you need to enter +86xxxxxxxxxxx)

How to Recharge Your Ideal Card:

1. Scratch the silver strip on the Recharge Voucher to reveal the 14-digit voucher number.

2. Dial *101*2* + 12-digit voucher number + # from your handset or dial 928 from your handset, and follow the voice instructions to recharge your Ideal Card.

3. The SIM card can be topped-up at any time before the expiry date. However, since the expiry date cannot be extended, the topped-up value must be used up before the SIM card expires.

Dial 928 from your handset for following services:

1. Balance and Expiry Date Inquiry

2. Top-Up

3. Multi-Language Support: 1 for Chinese; 2 for English; 3 for Japanese; 4 for Thai; 5 for Vietnamese; 6 for Indonesian.

Note:

1. The valid duration of the SIM card and service starts from the day of your first usage (including making a call, sending a text message or surfing the Internet) + the number of days of the package you have chosen.(For instance: If you have applied for a 5-day pay-by-the-day 4G SIM card and the first phone call you made was at 18:00:00 on 2023.08.15, the valid duration of the SIM card and service will be between 18:00:00 on 2023.8.15 and 23:59:59 on 2023.8.20.)

2. At the end of each outgoing call, you will receive a text containing Last Call Info showing called number, duration, cost and remaining balance. (However, there is no text of Last Call Info for SMS-related services.)
