Chunghwa Telecom Announces 2025 Salary Increase: Sharing Business Success and Strengthening Labor-Management Relations

Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. (“Chunghwa” or “the Company”) announced on December 23, 2024 a salary adjustment plan for 2025. This initiative aims to share the fruits of its strong business performance with its employees, fostering harmonious and constructive Union-Management relationship and win-win collaboration achieved by both employees and the management. The Company reiterated its commitment to building a happy workplace and enhancing employee welfare, underscoring its long-term dedication to sustainable growth and value creation.

Following a series of dialogues with the labor union and taking shareholders' interests into consideration, Chunghwa has approved a salary increase plan designed to motivate employees and drive continued excellence. The plan includes:

  • A fixed monthly salary increases of NT$2,400 per employee, with an average salary raise exceeding 3%.
  • An increase in food allowances from NT$2,400 to NT$3,000 per person per month for all employees.
  • A new transportation allowance of NT$1,000 per person per month for all employees.

In recognition of employees' contributions and as a gesture of gratitude, Chunghwa’s board of directors today approved a one-time bonus initiative of NT$20,000 per employee, acknowledging employees’ contribution to the company’s exceptional performance in 2024 and encouraging all the employees to continue to work for creating a new high for the upcoming year.
