(TAIEX: 2412, NYSE: CHT) announced today that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Delivery designation for AWS Direct Connect, recognizing that CHT is authorized to provision the new AWS Direct Connect Hosted Connections capacities from 50 Mbps to 10 Gbps.

Achieving the AWS Direct Connect Service Delivery designation differentiates CHT as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in delivering AWS Direct Connect services. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

Chunghwa Telecom provides Dedicated Connection and Hosted Connection for customers. In addition to co-location in CHT Taipei Internet data center (IDC), customer can also using DCI (Data Center Inter-connection) or Chunghwa Telecom VPN Service HiLink, connecting to CHT Taipei IDC and apply for the secure and private network connection to AWS Direct Connection service, customers will be able to get a scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions to support their seamless integration and IT deployment.
