Read with You “Community Network Tutoring”

CHT has launched the “Read with You” program, an online teaching solution where university students are assigned to provide one-to-one remote education for students living in remote areas, to improve learning outcomes and promote equal opportunities.

We have supported the education and showed its concerns for the rural villages since 2009, after the turmoil left behind by Typhoon Morakot. We extend our service to the permanent settlement and newly developed communities in the disaster zones. Through the installation of the visual technology of the Internet, we delivered the educational resources in the form of private tutorships to rural villages and the unfortunates. We hope to give the children of the next generation a learning environment with “safety, dignity, and hope.”

We fully exerting our corporate core competence, implement the corporate social commitment of “shorten digital divide” and “create digital learning opportunities.” We fulfill the duty of “everyone’s neighbor” to shorten the distance between urban and rural areas through communication technology, and convey warmth to people.

We have set mid/long-term targets and will reach the following targets in 2022:

1. A total of 600 children who have participated in the Community Network Tutoring.

2. A total of 1,000 volunteer who have attended the Community Network Tutoring.

3. A total of 25,000 hours of voluntary online teaching and training
