1. As of April 1, 2007, in compliance with relevant regulations concerning "items required to be included or prohibited from inclusion in standardized agreements for telecom products (or services)", the trusted bank shall provide contract fulfillment guarantees for sufficient funds with respect to the denominations for CHT-issued phone cards, the period for which will be one year from the sell date. From July 6, 2008, Bank of Taiwan shall provide contract fulfillment guarantees. CHT will announce separately any changes related to the bank providing contract fulfillment guarantees at the appointed time and from that day on the newly changed bank will provide contract fulfillment guarantees.
2. Pre-paid NT$300 international calling cards issued by CHT before April 1, 2007 which have passed their expiration date may still be used. Please call 0800-080-100 for more information.
Introduction
CHT has teamed up with President Chain Store Corporation to sell pre-paid international calling cards to customers to provide call service from 52 countries to Taiwan and from Taiwan through a third country or from Taiwan directly to 230 countries. With CHT's international calling card, call charges are automatically deducted from the stored value of the card until the stored value is completely used up. Extremely convenient, CHT's international calling card is useful for making calls when traveling abroad.
